SHARIF ON FILM

Darfur House (2005)

In the summer of 2005, filmmaker Lennaart Van Oldenborgh was commissioned by the Iceandfire Theatre Company to make a film for International Refugee Week. This is the film.

In Darfur House Sharif and three others build a traditional Darfuri house in the grounds of the Museum of Childhood in London. As they work they reminisce about the country they were forced to flee.
